WWE's website has posted a story on Matt Hardy's emergency appendectomy, and in probably the stupidest statement you can possibly imagine, tried to tie in the appendectomy to the storyline-knee-injury Hardy suffered from Smackdown rival MVP.
 
WWE.com reported Hardy’s emergency surgery comes less than a week after suffering a knee injury at the hands of his former partner, the United States Champion MVP. Did the attack by MVP help lead to the appendectomy that Hardy underwent tonight?
