There are a lot of reports regarding WWE Chairman Vince McMahon's backstage
demeanor this week at Raw and Smackdown, and we're hearing it from lots of
places as well. Apparently, the owner of WWE was in a bad mood to begin with
because of 63rd birthday on August 24, and the Raw and Smackdown shows didn't
make him any happier. Vince was said to be fuming that the shows were
overwritten, and a major timing issue caused Vince to rip into Bruce Prichard in
front of everyone.
Joey Mercury was telling a number of people that he's returning to World
Wrestling Entertainment in the near future with tag team partner Christian York,
who he teamed up with in the original ECW in 2000. Mercury even made the claim
during an in-ring promo during a Maryland Championship Wrestling show over the
weekend.
