SCORE one for the WWE in its
grudge match with the Denver Nuggets.
Vince McMahon is moving next week's "Monday Night Raw" to LA's Staples Center, home of
the LA Lakers -- who are playing the Nuggets in the NBA Western Conference playoffs.
"MNR" was supposed to
take place Monday at Denver's Pepsi Center, but it was unbooked from the venue
when Denver made the playoffs.
Game 4 is now scheduled for the
Pepsi Center on Monday -- and when Nuggets ownership balked at playing the game
elsewhere, McMahon went on the rampage.
He blasted team owner Stan
Kroenke for not having enough confidence in his team making the playoffs
(otherwise, why would he have booked "MNR" into the Pepsi Center?).
He also said Kroenke "should be
arrested for impersonating a good businessman."
McMahon's solution? Just move
"MNR" to the home of Denver's arch-rival.
He announced his decision
regarding the "Denver Debacle" yesterday at a press conference at the Hard Rock
in Times Square.
