Floyd Mayweather Jr. attended a Wrestlemania Press Conference today in Chicago with his right elbow taped and vowed to come back better than ever at Wrestlemania XXIV. THE ASSOCIATED PRESS reported on the press conference, which means newspapers and websites around the world will pick up on the story.

The AP reported  A subdued Floyd Mayweather walked onto the stage with his right elbow wrapped on Tuesday, but vowed he'll be ready for his 7-foot opponent when they meet again in WWE's "WrestleMania XXIV." On "Monday Night RAW" wrestler Big Show pressed the 5-foot-8 Mayweather above his head and tossed the undefeated WBC Welterweight champion out of the ring. Mayweather appeared to injure his elbow, but his manager Leonard Ellerbe assured reporters at a news conference in Chicago that the boxer wasn't seriously hurt. "What happened last night wasn't supposed to happen," Ellerbe said. "That was a cowardly move on Big Show's part and trust me, come the night of March the 30th, he's going to pay for that." The 150-pound Mayweather, who will face the 441-pound wrestler at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, said he stayed up most of the night icing his tender elbow. "Last night was a little wild," Mayweather said. "I hurt my elbow but only the strongest survive. I will be back. In 19 days I'll come back better than ever." Big Show warned that Monday's incident was just a hint of what Mayweather can expect. "I sent a message to him last night," he said. "The actions that happened last night are just the tip of the iceberg. This guy is 150 pounds. I can throw him wherever I want to. I'll throw him out of the ring, I'll throw him into the rafters, I'll throw him out of the Citrus Bowl." Mayweather said that he had a plan to make up for the size disadvantage. "(I'll use) agility, movement and smarts," said Mayweather, who will pocket $20 million for the event. "You can't hit what you can't see. I'm extremely fast, smart, and intelligent." Triple H, who has wrestled professionally for almost two decades, said that Mayweather's persona makes for an easy transition to the WWE. "He's an incredible athlete," said Triple H, who will also participate in "WrestleMania. "And he's almost custom-made for what we do. If there's one thing that Floyd knows how to do it's promote and showmanship." While Mayweather's personality might be a great fit for wrestling, his verbal onslaught appears to have gotten under Big Show's skin. "To shut him up, that would be awesome," Big Show said. "He runs his mouth non-stop. It's like a water faucet with a handle broke. It just doesn't stop."

Kevin Eck of THE BALTIMORE SUN has posted an excellent story on Jeff Hardy's 60 Day Suspension due to The Rainbow Haired Warrior's 2nd violation of the WWE Wellness Program. To read the entire story, which is highly recommended, CLICK HERE

THE NATIONAL LEDGER has posted a review of this week's HEYMAN HUSTLE (www.heymanhustle.com).
Reporter Jerry Melnick states In his most honest (and hysterical) interview to date, music performer - producer Cisco Adler joked about the controversial nude pictures found of him in Paris Hilton's storage locker ("I've never seen it - the locker that is"), his relationship with Rod Stewart's daughter Kimberly, and predicted the winner of a hypothetical fight between another former fiance, sex symbol Mischa Barton and Laura Conrad. Cisco had a relationship with her, too.  The show also features NBA Legend Jason Kidd's ex-wife Joumana Kidd's parody of Sarah Silverman's "I'm F!#$ing Matt Damon," which is really funny.
