TNA World Champion Kurt Angle was arrested last Friday Night in a suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and has been formally charged with Driving Under the Influence and Careless Driving. According to a report posted by Pittsburgh news station WPXI, police in Moon Township, Pennsylvania received a report of an erratic driver.  The description of the car and driver matched that of the 1996 Olympic Gold Medal Winner.
 
According to both WPXI and police sources, officers were dispatched to Angle's home, where he allegedly admitted to driving the car home from a local bar.

Police Officials confirmed that Angle failed a field sobriety test but refused a blood test.
 
This is just the latest incident in Angle's controversial association with substances or substance abuse. His tenure in World Wrestling Entertainment came to an end when WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and Talent Relations Executive John Laurinaitis released Angle from his contract after a disturbing meeting with Angle at WWE's world headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. Angle's admissions of pain medication and performance enhancing substances has changed several times, depending on the interview and the interviewer, since his ouster from WWE and subsequent signing with TNA Wrestling.
