Nick "Hogan" Bollea, the son of Hulk Hogan, has turned himself in to authorities after an arrest warrant was issued based on his August car wreck, and was immediately transported to Pinellas County Jail to be booked on the charges of Reckless Driving Involving Serious Bodily Injury; Use of a motor vehicle in commission of a felony; Being under the age of 21 and operating a vehicle with a breath-alcohol level of .02 or higher; and Having illegal window tint on his vehicle.
 
Hogan-Bollea is being charged as an adult, not a minor.
 
Investigators allege Hogan-Bollea was racing his suped-up Toyota Supra against a Dodge Viper being driven by 22 year old Daniel Jacobs when he lost control on stretch of road that was still wet from a rainstorm.  Eyewitnesses told authorities that Hogan-Bollea was racing the Viper and lost control while driving at a speed approximately 60 mph, hitting a tree in the median and demolishing the car in the process.
 
Jacobs has been issued a court summons for Reckless Driving.
