The controversial return of Michael "Hayes" Seitz to the WWE Writing Team
has been met with World Wrestling Entertainment quietly getting the word out
about what action was taken against the former "Freebird" in addition to his
allegedly unpaid 60 day suspension for using racial slurs during Wrestlemania
weekend in a heated conversation with Mark Henry.
According to sources within WWE who were happy to verify the rumors,
Hayes was ordered to go to sensitivity training as well as alcohol recovery
classes. Even though he is being brought back as a writer, he was also demoted
from his role as company Vice President, which makes him ineligible for stock
grants and performance bonuses, which can be quite lucrative considering the
profit the company has been turning in every quarter.
Hayes has also
had to agree to not drink alcohol while on the job, including after shows
and parties. There have been reports floating around about Hayes
taking antabuse, which is a medication that causes the person taking
it to vomit should they drink alcohol.
Hayes also sat down with Mark
Henry to clear the air between the two.
More on the situation with Michael "Hayes" Seitz returning to World
Wrestling Entertainment as this story develops.
