"I feel like if you're the champ, someone has
to beat the champ... But it was unanimous."
Rampage Jackson
After Losing The UFC Light Heavyweight
Title To Forrest Griffin Via Unanimous Decision
Last Night in the Main Event of UFC 86

UFC should schedule Forrest Griffin vs Rampage Jackson in a rematch as soon as possible. The two fighters had a great bout last night in the main event of UFC 86. The 5 round classic was won by Griffin via unanimous decision, but no one disputes it was a very hard fight to judge. Either man deserved victory. In many people's eyes, it was a draw.

Rampage stated bluntly, "I think I won the fight."

Griffin won the UFC Light Heavyweight Title in the process, prompting Rampage to note, "I feel like if you're the champ, someone has to beat the champ," which is the standard by which judges are supposed to judge in boxing, 'but it was unanimous."

The fight was definitely an all time great UFC contest, and many are comparing it to the now-legendary slugfest between Griffin and Stephan Bonner.
