Former Original ECW owner Paul Heyman, who performed as Brock
Lesnar's on-air "agent" and gave him the nickname "The Next Big Thing" in World
Wrestling Entertainment has posted a blog as part of the "Heyman Hustle" series
on the Sun (UK) about Lesnar's 2nd appearance in the Octagon coming up on
Saturday.
A key excerpt:
Brock is motivated by the thought of being a lot
better today than he was yesterday. He's inspired to be better tomorrow than he
is today.
And he's obsessed to show such progress, that two
days from now, tomorrow's improvement will pale by comparison.
“I had a few more months to train," Brock told
everyone matter-of-factly on the media call.“
If the Brock Lesnar now was to fight the Brock
Lesnar then, I would beat him."
Memo to the Herring Camp: Bring your A-Game. No one
likes to lose but Brock hates it more than others. Every day, Brock is
improving.
And that's a scary thought.
Heyman's perspective on Lesnar is very interesting, as he admits Heath
Herring is a dangerous competitor. Heyman also talks about UFC Heavyweight
Champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira, Frank Mir, Fedor Emelianenko, and how Lesnar
learns from his mistakes.
Excellent piece. Check it out HERE
