Mike Chiappetta of NBCSports.com has posted that Brock Lesnar's plane to Vegas "was forced to turn around and make an emergency landing when the landing gear would not retract after the flight was airborne."
 
Chiappetta, providing a much more accurate description than The LA Times story ( THE LA TIMES BLOWS THE STORY ON FRANK MIR VS BROCK LESNAR ), wrote "the matchup was not quite as one-sided as a 90-second submission makes it sound."
