LAS VEGAS, NEVADA -- Approximately 2,500 people attended the official weigh-ins for UFC 81: Breaking Point here at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. It was clear that Brock Lesnar was the star of the show, with the MMA crowd taking a decided anti-pro wrestler stance and booing Lesnar heavily.

Lesnar was listed at 6 feet, 2 1/2 inches, and weighing 265 pounds, but he was big and ripped. Mir was announced at 6 feet 4 inches, 255 pounds. Lesnar looked far bigger and much more ripped.

It appears the MMA pundits are going with Mir via submission. This is surprising considering all the hype Lesnar has gotten, and the way the UFC Countdown show was produced. The show almost wrote Lesnar off, and made it seem that Mir was too experienced in the Octagon for a first-timer in the cage like Lesnar to overcome.

"The Next Big Thing" Brock Lesnar will fight former UFC Heavyweight Champion Frank Mir tomorrow night live on pay per view at UFC 81: Breaking Point. It's the pro wrestler vs the mixed martial artist. The former NCAA Heavyweight Champion from the University of Minnesota against the hometown fighter from Las Vegas. If Lesnar is impressive in victory, UFC will have a new heavyweight star. If Lesnar loses, MMA fans will have a huge victory to brag about in their turf war against fans of pro wrestling.

It's a very interesting dynamic, with everyone being pushed (here comes the sales pitch, even though it really is appropo) to the Breaking Point.
