The IFL ended a long 2007 in front of a reported 5,731 fans who attended the IFL Grand Prix Finals at The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

IFL's big push for this show was that 5 titles would be decided. In the main event of the evening, late-replacement Ryan Schultz shocked the crowd by destroying the most popular fighter in IFL, the previously-undefeated 20 year old Chris Horodecki. Schultz used his left hand to pin down Horodecki's right arm, and then pummeled Horodecki with a series of brutal right hand punches until the fight was stopped at 2:51 of Round 1, winning the IFL Lightweight Title.
