Great news for fans of the man many feel is the best pound-for-pound fighter
in UFC, Georges St. Pierre. The groin injury St. Pierre suffered in his victory
over Thiago Alves at UFC 100 in July 11 will not require surgery.
"Evaluation of the results of an MRI indicate that no surgery will be
required, and Georges should be back in the gym training within a few weeks
after a brief rehabilitation," said a statement from his management.
No word on a dream match with Anderson Silva, as Joe Rogan suggested at UFC
100.
