We're live at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas for UFC 74. During the show, the headline will read LIVE ONGOING COVERAGE OF UFC 74.

Keep hitting refresh for new updates. When the show is over, we'll post any major story in the headline along with the words FULL COVERAGE OF UFC 74.

Lightweight Fight : Clay Guida defeats Marcus Aurelio via split decision (30-27, 30-27, 28-29).

Middleweight Fight: Thales Leites defeats Ryan Jensen via submission to the arm bar in 3:47 of the 1st round.

Heavyweight Fight: Frank Mir defeats Antoni Hardonk via submission to the Kimura in 1:17 of the 1st round.

Light Heavyweight Fight: Renato "Babalu" Sobral defeated David Heath via submission to the Anaconda Choke at 3:30 of the 2nd round. This is going to be a very controversial moment in UFC history. Josh Barnett was in Sobral's corner. Sobral gets a takedown almost immediately, and starts a ground and pound. Another takedown attempt but this time Heath is on top. Sobral active from underneath. Interesting round. It's a good fight so far. Round two, and Sobral gets in a hard left shot, and Heath's nose is bleeding. Sobral with a take down and he's landing punches to the face. The ref is considering stopping it but Heath, who is a bloody mess, is fighting back. Sobral is an animal, and there's blood all over the mat. The crowd, which is an early crowd especially for Vegas, is going nuts, but this is not what UFC needs at this moment in history. Sobral with a guillotine and now it's a choke and he gets the tap. Sobral holds on after it's over and the crowd is very angry. This is not pro wrestling. This is not an arena for unprofessionalism. Showmanship, yes. But not this. And even in pro wrestling, it's theatrical. This is life-threatening.

There is a lot of discussion about what we just witnessed. Dana White has a big decision on this one. Nothing short of a firing or multi-year suspension will do.

We're going live on pay per view.

Middleweight Fight: Patrick Cote defeated Kendall Grove via KO (due to strikes) at 4:45 of the 1st round.

Lightweight Fight: Joe Stevenson defeats Kurt Pellegrino via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28).

Lightweight Fight: Roger Huerta defeats Alberto Crane via TKO (due to strikes) at 1:50 of round three.

Fight: Georges St. Pierre defeated Josh Koscheck via unanimous decision (30-27, 29-28, 29-28). GSP was so popular tonight, it's hard to describe. The place was going absolutely crazy for this fight. There are an awful lot of Canadians in attendance tonight. After the fight, which was amazing, GSP asked Dana White to have a show in Montreal and the crowd exploded. GSP came across like a major superstar tonight. The reactions to him were every bit as big as the reactions to Chuck Liddell or Tito Ortiz.

UFC Heavyweight Title Fight: Randy Couture does it again, defeats Gabriel Gonzaga at 1:37 of round three via TKO (due to strikes). Good fight. Really good action. Hard fought battle, but Couture was clearly better. He is amazing for any age, and understands how to fight in UFC better than anyone else right now.
