Quinton "Rampage" Jackson was arrested at gunpoint on felony charges after a chase in Costa Mesa, California. Jackson, who lost the UFC Light Heavyweight Title to Forrest Griffin in a brutal 5 round decision on July 5th, drove his camouflage-painted 2008 Ford F-250 pick-up truck, complete with his image emblazoned on rear driver- and passenger-side doors, into at least one car, according to Costa Mesa Police. Jackson is also believed to have been involved in at least two separate collisions while driving on the highway.

 

According to a release just issued by the Costa Mesa Police Department, a Costa Mesa patrol officer attempted to pull Jackson over after he was seen weaving in and out of traffic with a flat front left tire. However, "Rampage" continued driving to avoid being stopped. Losing control of the truck, Jackson drove up onto a sidewalk. He continued on, colliding with a vehicle in an intersection and running several red lights.

 

The truck came to a stop and Jackson was arrested without incident at gunpoint. He was transported to Costa Mesa City Jail where he was booked on charges of felony evading, reckless driving and hit-and-run. Jackson was sent to Orange County Jail, where he is being held lieu of a $25,000 bail.
