Chuck Liddell and Wanderlei Silva got face to face for the media at the UFC 79: NEMESIS weigh ins yesterday when Silva moved his head forward in a way some thought he was trying to short-distance headbutt Liddell. "The Iceman" gave Silva the finger, and UFC officials and security had to do what wrestling folks call a "pullapart," in which the officials and security have to restrain the combatants.
Meanwhile, Matt Hughes and Georges St. Pierre demonstrated an amazing amount of mutual respect for one another, shaking hands and hugging but both promising to beat the other in the Octagon tonight.
A very eventful press conference.
