LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jenna Jameson has removed the trademark breast implants that helped make her famous in efforts to broaden her career opportunities in mainstream Hollywood.

Jameson’s surgery took her chest from an augmented 34D back down to her natural size of 34C. The surgery was performed August 1, 2007 in Beverly Hills by plastic surgeon Dr. Garth Fisher.

“A woman’s sexuality is not defined by the size of her bust. I absolutely love the way I look and feel now. I am experiencing pure bliss for the first time in my life,” said Jameson.

Jameson’s boyfriend, ultimate fighter Tito Ortiz, was on tour with the USO in Iraq when she had the surgery. Ortiz arrived home two days later and was relieved to learn that the operation was a complete success, and that Jameson was ecstatic with the results.

“I love Jenna no matter what size bra she wears,” said Ortiz. “A lot of people are attracted to Jenna because of her physical appearance, but there is so much more to Jenna than what first meets the eye. I know that. Now maybe the rest of the world will have the opportunity to take notice, too.”

Jameson’s interest in high fashion helped spur her decision to downsize. “I can wear so many more designers’ work with my new body. I can wear haute couture and not feel like I am bursting out of the top of the dress,” said Jameson.

On September 11, Jameson will stomp the catwalk for ultra-hot designers Heatherette, participating as a runway model for their show during New York’s Fashion Week. Next year, Jameson plans to launch a line of women’s apparel based on her own designs, Hello Jenna.

Jameson is helping develop a Hollywood biopic based on her best-selling book, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star. A new comic book character based on Jameson’s non-adult persona is also in the works
